The students of the advanced yoga teacher training course in the Suddhananda Ashram in Thiruvannamalai started the day at 5am with a good asana class followed by a pranayama class and a guru talk by Swami Suddhananda.

Our day started slightly later, focusing on observing and taking pictures of the life in the ashram. It was a day of silence for the students so we couldn’t talk to any of them. Coni could not resist staying longer and shooting the second asana class of the day as the sun was so nice.

We left by 3:30pm only, with a gorgeous sunlit Tamil Nadu landscape as we drove on the NH68. After a 5-hour chaotic drive on the national highway, we had made 150km… and finally reached Salem, still halfway to Coimbatore, where we are expected tomorrow.
